Rosehip and Hibiscus Tea (Teekanne) 20 bags
Featured in Martha Stewart Living, May 2009 for Rose hip Hibiscus ice cubes.
With a refreshing, sour taste and a pleasant pink color, enjoy a tea made from rosehips and hibiscus, hot or iced. Rosehips are the fruit from a number of species of wild and cultivated rose plants, while hibiscus is a flashy, tropical flower. Both herbs contain high levels of flavonoids and other antioxidants, and rosehips are an excellent source of vitamin C. Drinking tea made from rosehip and hibiscus is thought to provide a myriad of health benefits. Rosehip has been used to treat indigestion, arthritis, colds and the flu. Rosehip is also safer than conventional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in that it is gentle on the digestive tract and does not increase the risk for ulcers. Medicinally, hibiscus has been used to treat upset stomach, anxiety and fevers, and has lowered blood pressure in patients with mild hypertension. It also contains an antioxidant compound that helps to prevent cancer. Each package contains 20 tea packets.
Ingredients: rosehip & hibiscus flowers.
