Trahanas - Sour (Vlaha) - 500g

This traditional Greek soup mix is produced by combining fresh ingredients together using an old family recipe. (trahanas, tarana, tarhana, tarxane, tarkhineh) are names for a dried food based on a fermented mixture of grain and yogurt or fermented milk, usually made into a thick soup with water, stock, or milk. Since milk is both acidic and low in moisture, it keeps for long periods of time.

Ingredients: durum wheat semolina, yogurt (370g per kilo of semolina), milk butter (28g per kilo of semolina), salt 2% max. Product may contain traces of egg.
