Italian Rice Carnaroli (Molinella) 1 Kg (2.2 lbs)

Hailed as the "king of Italian rice" and beloved by chefs around the world, carnaroli is a medium-grained rice grown in the provinces of northern Italy. The grains are well-shaped, and they are the longest and thickest of the superfino rice. It has a higher starch content rich in amylose, which gives the rice a greater consistency during cooking and better absorption of the ingredients. The kernels have a firmer texture which results in a rich, velvety bowl of risotto. Beretta uses the "protected storage" method, one that naturally preserves the rice, maintaining all its nutritional properties and freshness.
