Amaretti Italian Cookies (Bonomi) - 200 g

This cookie originated in Venice during the Renaissance. Forno Bonomi is renowned for producing sweet, delicate and light snacks prepared with the simplest and most pure ingredients. These small, domed-shaped cookies are crisp and crunchy on the outside and soft inside. They have a distinctive flavor, which comes from the addition of bitter almonds. Traditionally served with a sweet dessert wine or liqueur, they are also wonderful with a bowl of ice cream or with a cup of coffee. Another great way to use these cookies is to finely crush and add them to desserts for added texture and flavor.

Ingredients: sugar, apricot kernels 15%, pasteurized egg white, maize flour, wheat flour, rice flour and whole wheat flour, leavening agents (sodium carbonate acid, ammonium carbonate acid), flavorings.
