Nikos® Kasseri Cheese is a firm, flavorful table cheese with a smooth texture and a color that ranges from white to light cream. Aged to perfection, it offers a pleasantly piquant taste that adds depth to cheese boards, sandwiches, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Ideal for slicing, grilling, or enjoying on its own.

Kasseri is a medium-hard pale yellow cheese made from unpasteurized sheep's milk. This cheese has a pale yellow rind that's thin, smooth and glossy, and its pale yellow interior is smooth and elastic. Excellent when served as an appetizer, in hot dishes or on salads. Kasseri is well known as the cheese used in the Greek dish called saganaki.  The cheese is sautéed in butter, flavored with lemon juice and flamed with brandy. Keep refrigerated.
