Turkish Cotton Candy, Plain (OZ or Ogas) - 250 g

Pişmaniye (peesh-MAHN-ee-yay) is an ancient Turkish sweet that dates back to the 15th century. Although it is sometimes compared to cotton candy, both the ingredients and method of preparation are significantly different, and it has a different texture and a deeper flavor. The sugary mixture is pulled into thousands of fine, crumbly strands. Pişmaniye can be served on its own or as an accompaniment to fruits, cakes, ice creams, puddings and desserts.
